My package shows delivered but I can't find itUpdated a year ago
Check With Your Neighbors
It's quite common for packages to be mistakenly delivered to a neighbor's address. If your package's tracking status shows that it has been delivered but you haven't received it, the first step is to check with your neighbors. Sometimes, a delivery driver might leave the package at a nearby address by mistake or for safety reasons.
Speak With Household Members
Before reaching out to neighbors, make sure to check with everyone in your household. Sometimes, another household member might have picked up the package and forgotten to tell you.
Look Around Your Property
Sometimes, delivery drivers leave packages in less obvious places to keep them safe from theft or weather. Check around your doorstep, any side doors, porches, or garages. It’s also worth checking any other areas where the package could have been placed, like behind plant pots or furniture near your entryway.
File a Police Report
If after all these steps, your package is still missing, you will need to file a police report before we can proceed with your claim. This can be important for several reasons:
- It formally documents the incident.
- It helps the police track and manage package theft in your area.
- To file a report, contact your local police department. Provide them with all the details of the package, including tracking numbers, description, and any correspondence you had with the delivery company. This documentation will assist the police in investigating the matter more efficiently.
Once you have filed a police report, we request that you provide that documentation to us for us to continue with a shipping claim.
