Amplifier Repairs — Out-of-Warranty Service

We now offer professional out-of-warranty amplifier repairs for most mobile audio brands and models (mono blocks and multi-channel). This page covers amplifiers only. For speakers/subwoofers or in-warranty service, please refer to the relevant brand policy.

Non-Refundable Diagnostic / Bench Fee

All out-of-warranty amplifier evaluations require a $80 non-refundable diagnostic/bench fee. This covers intake, testing, and identifying the failure and parts needed.

  • Diagnosis Timeline: Please allow up to 5 business days after receipt for diagnosis only (repair time is in addition to diagnosis).
  • After diagnosis, we’ll send a parts + labor quote for your approval.

Shipping

  • Inbound (to us): Customer pays shipping and must pack the amplifier securely to prevent transit damage.
  • If you approve the repair: We will cover return shipping back to you (continental U.S.).
  • If you decline the repair or the unit is unrepairable: You may choose to pay for return shipping or request disposal.

Tip: Use original packaging if available, remove bass knobs/RCAs/fuses, and include a brief description of the failure and your order/contact info.


What We Repair

  • Most Class D/Class AB car audio amplifiers (mono & multi-channel)
  • Common failures: power supply faults, output stage failures, protect mode, thermal issues, intermittent cut-outs

What’s Not Typically Repairable

  • Severe PCB/fire/water damage where board integrity is compromised
  • Units with missing/removed serials, or heavy prior tampering
  • Obsolete models with no parts availability (we’ll advise after diagnosis)

How It Works

  1. Submit the Repair Request Form.
  2. Pay the $80 diagnostic/bench fee (non-refundable).
  3. Ship your amplifier to the address we provide after the form is submitted.
  4. We diagnose within ~5 business days of receipt and send your quote.
  5. You approve or decline:
    • Approve: We proceed with repair and cover return shipping (continental U.S.).
    • Decline or Unrepairable: You can pay for return shipping or request disposal.

Storage & Abandonment Policy

Once we notify you that payment is due (diagnostic or repair), we will hold your item for 30 days. If payment is not made within 30 days, the item may be considered abandoned and disposed of. Please keep an eye on your email/phone for updates.
