At Big Jeff Audio, we want to make your audio system upgrades as smooth as possible. If you're planning to install a Line Output Converter (LOC) in your vehicle, it’s essential to know whether your vehicle's system is compatible with the Axxess Integrate T-Harness products.

What is the Axxess Integrate T-Harness?

The Axxess Integrate T-Harness is designed to simplify the installation of a subwoofer or complete audio system by providing convenient access to your factory radio’s speaker-level output signals. This T-Harness is designed to work with Axxess LOCs, as well as other common LOC products, including Proscenium’s active line output converters.

Why Won't the Axxess T-Harness Work with Factory Amplified Systems?

While the Axxess T-Harness makes it easy to connect your aftermarket system to the factory radio, it is not compatible with vehicles equipped with a factory amplified system. The factory amplifier processes and powers the audio signals, and the T-Harness relies on the unamplified speaker-level output from the radio. If your vehicle uses a factory amplifier, the LOC and T-Harness may not properly interface with the system, causing issues such as signal interference, no audio output, or distorted sound.

What Does the Axxess T-Harness Do?

The T-Harness provides a simple, vehicle-specific solution to integrate aftermarket systems by connecting to your factory radio. The harness includes essential connections for:

• 12-volt constant power (with a 10-amp fuse)
• Ground wire
• Remote turn-on lead
• Speaker-level output signal for your aftermarket system

It allows you to easily connect devices like active signal processors, amplifiers, or powered subwoofers without interfering with your factory speakers. The installation process is straightforward, involving disconnecting the factory radio and connecting the two T-Harness plugs. One plug connects to the radio, and the other snaps into the previously removed plug, leaving the radio fully functional while providing the necessary connections for your new system.
