Warehouse Manager

Big Jeff Audio is seeking an experienced and confident Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operations of our 10,000-square-foot warehouse and keep a large, fast-moving inventory organized and accurately counted.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring complete and accurate orders are prepared, shipped, and delivered in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be analytical, highly organized, comfortable with paperwork and information systems, and knowledgeable about shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics procedures.

Our warehouse has many moving parts, with several products and orders moving at any given time. We need a hands-on team leader who can respond swiftly and confidently when challenges arise.

This is not a desk-only position. The Warehouse Manager is expected to work alongside the warehouse team and actively support daily operations.

Pay:
$40,000 - $60,000 per year salary

Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager oversees shipping, receiving, inventory organization, documentation, staff performance, and the movement of orders from preparation through shipment. This role is responsible for maintaining an efficient workflow, resolving operational issues, and ensuring warehouse processes meet company standards.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position requiring strong decision-making, communication, accountability, and the ability to manage more than 10 employees in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and work alongside the warehouse team during daily operations
  • Direct the flow of packages and orders from preparation through shipment
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed, labeled, and shipped accurately and on time
  • Oversee receiving, inventory placement, organization, and product counts
  • Manage important shipping documents, including advance shipping notices, pick slips, and bills of lading
  • Inspect shipping labels, packaging, and other features of completed orders for accuracy
  • Monitor warehouse workflow and make adjustments to keep operations running smoothly
  • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse staff, and other managers to improve processes
  • Investigate and resolve problems involving shipped orders, inventory, receiving, or fulfillment
  • Support Amazon FBA preparation and shipment requirements
  • Use ShipStation, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other company systems
  • Ensure compliance with applicable shipping requirements and company policies
  • Direct, train, evaluate, and hold warehouse employees accountable
  • Report warehouse activities, performance, and operational issues to company management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Shipping Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Experience managing and evaluating a warehouse team of more than 10 employees
  • Solid knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics procedures
  • Experience preparing shipping documents, including advance shipping notices
  • Experience with ShipStation and Amazon FBA operations
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to respond quickly and confidently to changing warehouse conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is a plus

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 30-minute lunch
  • (2) paid 10-minute breaks

  • Experience managing 10+ employees (2+ years required)
  • Warehouse leadership experience (2+ years required)
  • QuickBooks experience (2+ years required)
  • Microsoft Excel experience (2+ years required)
  • Basic computer operations (2+ years required)
  • Microsoft Office experience (1+ year preferred)
