E-Commerce Product Data & Marketplace Specialist

We are a fast-growing eCommerce car audio and electronics company selling across multiple online sales channels including Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Target Marketplace, and more.

We are looking for highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with product data, spreadsheets, and solving complex operational challenges.

Pay:
Starting at $17-$20/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

This role is focused on managing product information, marketplace operations, and maintaining accurate product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms. You will work extensively with Excel, product catalogs, marketplace tools, and data validation to ensure our listings remain accurate, compliant, and optimized.

Unlike many positions on our creative team, this role is primarily data-driven and operational rather than graphic design or marketing focused.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain product listings across multiple online marketplaces
• Manage product specifications, pricing, images, attributes, and category assignments
• Perform bulk imports, exports, and product updates using Excel and marketplace tools
• Validate listing data for accuracy, completeness, and marketplace compliance
• Monitor listing health and troubleshoot catalog, inventory, and synchronization issues
• Analyze large datasets to identify inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement
• Compile information from multiple sources into organized spreadsheets
• Investigate operational issues and determine root causes when processes stop working
• Develop and improve workflows that increase efficiency and reduce manual work
• Assist with launching and maintaining products across new and existing sales channels

Preferred Experience:

• Excel formulas such as XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements, CONCATENATE, and other advanced functions
• Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, Target Marketplace, or eBay
• Experience with CSV imports, product feeds, and catalog management
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop
• Familiarity with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or spreadsheet automation
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Experience with data validation and process documentation
• Understanding of marketplace compliance requirements and listing standards

Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 30-minute lunch
• (2) paid 10-minute breaks

Requirements

• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (required)
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work with large spreadsheets while maintaining accuracy
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable learning new software platforms and marketplace systems
• Must be able to work on-site in or near Ocala, FL (this is not a remote position)
